Introduction
The Nursery is a family business run by Mother and Daughter established in January 1999.
We have over twenty friendly staff, both qualified and non-qualified with 102 years of combined service with us.
We cater for children from birth to 12 years and It is our aim to give the children an environment to develop at their own pace with encouragement and enthusiasm from the Nursery staff.
We are the only full day care setting in the Markfield/Groby and surrounding area on the network of excellence.

School Preparation
The largest of the Nursery rooms is called 'Rabbits House' which prepares our 3 and 4 year old children for entrance to the level ‘four-plus’ at main stream primary schools.

Free Nursery Sessions
Government funding enables us to offer free sessions for 3 and 4 year old children.
The funding is at present £3.47 per hour.15 hours per week for 38 weeks each year are available and you can use this funding at more than one setting.
By using 5 funded hours together we are able to offer either a free morning session of 8.00am to 1.00pm which includes a hot meal at 11.45am or an afternoon session of 12.45pm to 5.45pm including a cold tea.
Children are eligible for this funding on the first school term after the age of three.
